Facade work completed during the construction of the International SAMBO Center in Luzhniki

In Moscow (Russia), the main facade work has been completed during the construction of the International SAMBO Center and the Boxing Center in the Luzhniki sports complex. This was announced on Monday, January 17, by the head of the city's construction department, Rafik Zagrutdinov.

— At the SAMBO Center and the Boxing Center under construction, the bulk of the installation of facade cassettes made of lucid has been completed. The building takes on a complete look. Work is underway to install stainless steel pools. The installation of acoustic ceiling panels with a unique stainless steel subsystem has also begun in the SAMBO zone pool,–  the Moscow City News Agency reports Zagrutdinov.

The total area of ​​the facades will be 23,000 square meters. The building is designed with stained glass windows and a glass ceiling. Such glazing will allow people to watch the training of athletes from outside the building.

The emphasis in the new center will be placed not only on comfortable and modern conditions for competitions and training, but also on educational programs. The facility provides educational and methodological classes, on the basis of which training sessions for athletes and advanced training of coaches and referees will be held, and the process will be led by world-class specialists.

The construction of the Center is planned to be completed this year.
