International FIAS Coaches Seminar was held in the Netherlands 12 March 2024
Dalfsen became the venue for the Dutch Open Sambo Championship 6 March 2024
Open SAMBO tournament was held in the Netherlands 4 December 2023

Sambo has been known in Holland since 1990. It was officially founded in 1993 in the Hague.

Mr. H-J. Ningbers heads the federation. Mr. B. Roskam is Secretary General. Mr. H-J. Ningbers is competition chief secretary.

At present, the federation operates with 6 sport clubs.

Annually two sambo competitions are held in the Netherlands:
- Dutch Open Championship
- Open Ommen Championship
