Yasuhiro Yamashita, a member of the International Judo Federation Executive Committee, a 1984 Olympic Champion in judo and four-time world champion, presented a symbolic Russian President Vladimir Putin's Cup and a gold medal of the tournament to Yevgeny Afanasyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Japan.
