FIAS invites sambists to the ITA monthly webinar “Preparing for Major Games”

The International SAMBO Federation invites sambists to join the webinar of the International Testing Agency (ITA) “Preparing for Major Games”, which will be held on May 24.

May monthly webinar will be dedicated to “Preparing for Major Games”.  A major game can be the pinnacle of an athlete’s sporting career. As an athlete prepares physically and mentally to perform at their best, they have to be prepared to fulfill their Anti-Doping responsibilities. This means understanding what they need to do in advance and knowing what to expect concerning Anti-Doping during the event, so they can focus on performance.

ITA invites all athletes and their support personnel to join the session and panellists Marc Mundell, OLY and Vanessa Webb, ITA Major Events Project Manager, in the interactive webinar that will provide many practical tips for athletes and Athlete Support Personnel.

As always, these webinars will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages – Arabic (العربي), Spanish (español), French (français), and Russian (русский).

Any athlete can be tested at any time. Therefore, all athletes and Athlete Support Personnel must understand the process and their rights and responsibilities so that you are informed and prepared when you are, or your athlete is, selected for testing.
