Kazakh Youth SAMBO Championship was held from February 18 to 21 in Aktau. The tournament held in sports complex "Mangistau-Arena" gathered a record number of participants: more than 500 athletes from all parts of the country were competing for the medals. For the first time in the national youth championship, Combat SAMBO competitions were held on a par with the Sport SAMBO.
In the tournament, which was attended by 20 teams from 17 regions and 3 cities of the country, 28 sets of medals in different weight categories were drawn. The championship became a qualifying competition for the youth team of Kazakhstan in international competitions. We remind you that in June in the Kazakh city of Almaty is scheduled to the Asian and Oceania SAMBO Championships.
