Seminar for referees in Costa Rica
Costa Rica is getting ready for national sambo championship. If for the athletes it means regular trainings and improving technique, then the best preparation for the referees is the seminar. Last Saturday, 16 July, referees passed the training in the capital of the country – San Jose.
National seminar for judges took place in the gym of the Committee of Sports of the Canton of Goicoechea – one of the districts of San Jose. Referee of the national category Louis Bogantes tried to post a complex referee science in a more understandable way. His audience was 35 people, and each of them could potentially serve local sambo fights.
Those participants, who showed themselves best at the seminar, could demonstrate their abilities soon. On the 30 July in Costa Rica there will be National Sambo Championships, which will be the selection of the candidates for national team to participate in the Panamerican Sambo Championships in Paraguay.
