The Haitian Sambo Championship took place in Carrefour

The Haitian National Sambo Championship was held on December 17 at the Jo-Vahna sports complex in the city of Carrefour. According to the organizing committee, 79 sambists from various regions of the country took part in the tournament. Competitions were organized in Sport SAMBO and Combat SAMBO among men and women.

According to the National Sambo Federation, representatives of many regions of the country took part in the championship: Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, Les Cayes, Carrefour and others. In the team competition, representatives of the Grande-Rivière du Nord club won, second place was won by sambists from Jaguar Sambo de Carrefour, and athletes from SAMBO Academy of Haiti took the third place.
