Vasily Shestakov met with Nikol Pashinyan

The President of the International Sambo Federation Vasily Shestakov held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on November 11.

During the conversation that took place in Yerevan during the World Sambo Championships, the parties discussed the current tournament, as well as issues of SAMBO development and prospects for further cooperation.

The capital of Armenia is hosting the main tournament of the FIAS calendar this year: the World SAMBO Championships are being held in Yerevan from November 10 to 12. According to the tournament organizing committee, representatives from 71 countries are participating in the competition. Yerevan received the right to host the World SAMBO Championships after successfully organizing the World Youth and Junior Championships last year.
