Last year a SAMBO athlete from Israel won the “gold” of the Universiade in SAMBO and belt wrestling as well as became the world champion in SAMBO in St. Petersburg. On March 25 Alice Schlesinger added the victory at the A.Kharlampiev Memorial World Cup to her awards collection. “The fact that I am the current World Champion has not made my life easier. On the contrary, everyone is waiting for results from me, opponents focus on me and fight even stronger”, – said the athlete after the final duel meet in Moscow.
