Shortly before the World Cup in Bulgaria, local athletes are sparring in the water. The Dimitrov brothers, Rumen and Rosen, well-known for their MMA fights (mixed martial arts), are now laying stress on sambo. They started training at the Boini Sportove Sports Club in Burgas. The guys took advantage of the favourable location of this resort city for all it is worth by training in the sea. Quite possibly, sambo fans will soon see these athletes in a more usual setting – on the sambo mat of the Sambo World Cup in Bulgaria, which will be held in early September.
