HADJIEV® becomes new official Sport SAMBO uniform supplier for FIAS

The International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) has announced a new partnership with Bulgarian company Hadjiev Sport – Bulgaria, which has been certified as the official supplier of Sport SAMBO uniforms.

The HADJIEV® brand has been producing SAMBO uniforms for more than 30 years, and throughout that time its products have accompanied the achievements of sambists both from Bulgaria and around the world. The uniforms are made from 100% cotton treated using the brand's proprietary HADJIEV® technology, which ensures high fabric density and weight, colour fastness, and resistance to shrinkage when washed. All models comply with European Union manufacturing standards and meet the equipment requirements set out in international federations' rules.

The company was founded by Tsvetan Hadjiev (1939-2003), a figure best known as one of the pioneers of judo in Bulgaria and one of the founders of the Bulgarian Judo Federation. He held the title of Master of Sport, was a distinguished coach, and was recognised as the best judo referee in Bulgaria of the 20th century, holding the status of international Olympic-category referee. Tsvetan Hadjiev remains the only Bulgarian to have been awarded a medal of merit by the European Judo Union.

The company said that receiving FIAS certification represents an important recognition of the quality of the SAMBO uniforms it produces, as well as further motivation to continue supporting sambists at every stage of their journey – from their first steps in the sport to the title of world champion.
