2027 Asia and Oceania SAMBO Championships to be held in Tajikistan

Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, will host the 2027 Asia and Oceania SAMBO Championships, along with the Asia and Oceania Youth and Junior SAMBO Championships and the Asia and Oceania Masters SAMBO Championships. The decision was taken by the SAMBO Union of Asia and Oceania (SUAO).

Scheduled for May next year, the continental tournaments will bring together several disciplines and age categories under one roof. Medals will be contested in Sport SAMBO and Combat SAMBO among adults, as well as among junior men and women. Youth men and women will compete for honors in Sport SAMBO, while masters will also take to the mats in the Sport SAMBO competition, with men vying for the top spots.

The 2027 Asia and Oceania continental tournaments will be staged at the Dushanbe Tennis Palace and Water Sports Complex – the same venue set to host the World SAMBO Cup this September.
