Karaganda (Kazakhstan) hosted the main republican SAMBO tournament - the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in sports and combat SAMBO among adults (men and women), held from March 16 to 18.
The competition was attended by 700 athletes from 17 regions and three federal cities. For three days, Kazakh sambists competed for the title of the strongest in eight weight categories.
The Chief Referee of the Championship was Abdisadyk Khalilaev.
