How will the FIAS rating of sambists be calculated in 2018 (amended)

FIAS World ranking list regulations 2018 

1. Points tally is kept during the calendar year. 

2. 4 best results of an athlete for 2 years are counted (points of each result of the previous year are taken into account with a coefficient of 0.5).

3. Points will not be transferred from one weight category to another. 

4. After 2 years the points are completely lost (reduced to 0) and are not counted anymore.

Additional Rules

1. In case of tie on total points, the higher place will go to: 

* an athlete with more points for the World Championships; 

* an athlete with more points for the World Cup; 

* if there is still a tie, then other tournaments will be counted. 

2. If a competitor changes nationality during the calendar year, he or she forfeits all points scored and starts with 0.
