Asian SAMBO Federation Congress in Uralsk
At the end of January the Founding Congress of the Asian SAMBO Federation was held in Uralsk prior to the SAMBO World Cup Stage for prizes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Authorized representatives of eight national SAMBO federations, admitted by the FIAS, participated in the Congress: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, South Korea and Japan.
The chief control body of the Asian SAMBO elected new management of the Asian SAMBO Federation namely: President – Muslim Ugdanov (Kazakhstan), Secretary General – Mahmud Abdulloev (Tadzhikistan).
The Congress approved the competition calendar of the Asian SAMBO Federation for this 2013 year. Main events of the sports calendar are continental championships in the first place. The Asian competition among young men and women, male and female juniors will be held on 26-29 April 2013 in Uralsk (Kazakhstan). From 31 May to 3 June the main continental start of the year gathering adult sportsmen will take place in Seoul, the capital of the South Korea.
The Asian SAMBO Federation is ready to admit new members, Asian national SAMBO federations.
