THE EUROPEAN UNION SAMBO CUP WILL BE HELD IN MADRID

The European Union SAMBO Cup starts tomorrow, on the 28th of October, in Madrid, the capital of Spain. European sambists will compete for medals both in individual and team events at the tournament that will take place at the “San Agustín del Guadalix” sports complex.

The first day of the tournament will be dedicated to the individual event. Sambists will compete in the following weight categories:

Women: -48 kg, -52 kg, -56 kg, -60 kg, -64 kg, -68 kg, -72 kg, -80 kg, +80 kg.

Men: -52 kg, -57 kg, -62 kg, -68 kg, -74 kg, -82kg, -90 kg, -100 kg, +100 kg.

Combat sambo: -62 kg, -82 kg, -100 kg.

The second day will be be full of entertaining “wall-to-wall” team fights. Teams will be formed in the following weight categories:

Men: -62 kg, -68 kg, -100 kg.

Women: -60 kg, -68 kg.
