Moroccan Cadets, Youth and Junior Sambo Championship took place in Casablanca

The Moroccan Cadets, Youth and Junior Sambo Championship took place on April 21 in Casablanca. Representatives of several clubs from different regions of the country took part in the tournament, which was held at the Ain Chock sports complex.
“Such events help ensure the future of national SAMBO. The tournament is aimed not only at instilling a passion for this discipline in children, but also at expanding the number of young samboists who will become champions in the future. It should also be noted that we have included the discipline of Combat SAMBO in competitions among juniors,” said Dalil Skalli, president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sambo and Tai-Jitsu.
According to the competition organizing committee, more than 320 young athletes took part in the tournament. The athletes demonstrated a sincere fight for victory, and also tried to surprise not only their opponents, but also the coaches of the Moroccan national team with their technique. In the future, some of these guys will probably fight to get into the national team to represent the country in international competitions.
