New lessons for Levels 2 and 3 now available on the FIAS Belt System website

The International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) has expanded the library of materials on the FIAS Belt System website. Lessons for SAMBO athletes preparing for the yellow patch (Level 2) and the orange patch (Level 3) have been added to the existing sections for Novice and Level 1.

As in the sections already published, the certification requirements for each level are presented as a library of practical lessons: short video tutorials demonstrating the techniques, accompanied by illustrated theory materials. Athletes and coaches can see exactly what is required to earn the yellow and orange patches and use the materials to prepare for their exams.

The FIAS Belt System is a structured qualification program for SAMBO athletes of all levels. It comprises ten levels. The journey begins at Novice (no patch), followed by six student levels, each marked by a colored patch on the belt. Beyond them lies the master track: Candidate for Master, Master and Grandmaster. The patches range from white to burgundy, giving a clear visual record of an athlete’s progress.

The website now offers the techniques and theory for four levels: Novice, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Materials for the remaining levels will be made available gradually in the near future.
