The attempt of a hostile takeover of the International Sambo Federation was doomed to failure right from the beginning
Today, September, 3, at the press center of the information agency "ITAR-TASS” was held the International SAMBO Federation press-conference on “Sport and corporate raiding: who mingles the Olympic prospects Sambo?” The event was attended by the FIAS President Vasily Shestakov, President of the All-Russian and European SAMBO Federation Sergey Eliseev, President of the African Confederation Dalil Skalli, Vice-president of the International SAMBO Federation Rumen Stoilov, member of the Executive Committee of the International SAMBO Federation from Japan Nobuyuki Asai, and director of the educational center "Sambo-70" Renat Laishev.
"As you all know, there was an attempt of a hostile takeover of the International Sambo Federation. This attempt was doomed to failure right from the beginning"- so began the press-conference FIAS President Vasily Shestakov.
