FIAS President Holds Meeting with UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation Chairman in Abu Dhabi

On February 13, International SAMBO Federation President Vasily Shestakov met with H.E. Abdulmunem Alsayed Mohamed Alhashmi in Abu Dhabi to discuss the development of SAMBO in the United Arab Emirates.

Alhashmi serves as Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, President of the Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union, and Senior Vice President of the Jiu-Jitsu International Federation. 

During the meeting, both parties discussed cooperation mechanisms for developing SAMBO in the UAE and reached preliminary agreements on future collaboration.

The talks mark a continuation of FIAS's efforts to expand SAMBO's presence in the UAE and other countries of the region. Further work is planned to strengthen the sport's infrastructure and organization in the region.
