The Romanian sambo federation is officially recognized by the Sports Ministry of the country

On November 25th the Romanian Sambo federation has received the official documents confirming its recognition by the Sports Ministry of Romania. It is a significant step forward in progress of SAMBO in Romania. The official recognition of the Romanian sambo federation will allow to organize at higher level youth European championship which will pass in Bucharest in April, 2012.

The International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) is a non-governmental, public, non-profit organization that unites National SAMBO Federations. FIAS is the only internationally recognized organization responsible for the development of SAMBO worldwide.
