SAMBO was Included in the Program of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games 2021

The 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) are due to take place in Thailand in the first half of 2021. Competitions in 24 sports, including SAMBO, will be held in Bangkok and Pattaya.
The Asian Olympic Council (OCA) formally signed the Host City Contract with the Thai side on April 23. The signing ceremony took place via video conference link between the headquarters of the Asian Olympic Council in Kuwait and the Thai Sports Authority in Bangkok.
AIMAG are returning to Thailand. It was in this country in 2005 that the first ever Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games took place. Recall that in 2017 SAMBO was included in the program of the Games that took place in Turkmenistan.
