“The Fedor Cup plays a crucial role in identifying, developing, and recognizing athletes, facilitating their advancement at both national and international levels. The competition is held in honor of Fedor Emelianenko, the legendary world SAMBO champion and outstanding ambassador of the sport, whose legacy embodies the values of excellence, discipline, and competitive spirit,” according to a statement from the Chilean SAMBO Federation.
