The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has publishes the 2020 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, which will come into force on January 1, 2020.
The List, which is one of six International Standards that are mandatory for all Signatories of the World Anti-Doping Code (Code), designates what substances and methods are prohibited both in- and out-of-competition, and which substances are banned in particular sports.
The noteworthy changes to the List are summarized in the "2020 Summary of Major Modifications and Explanatory Notes".
Substances which are not on the Prohibited List, but which WADA wishes to monitor in order to detect patterns of misuse in sport are listed in the 2020 Monitoring Program.
