Attention to the participants of the FIAS International Seminar in Brussels!

The International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) reminds all participants of the upcoming international seminar for coaches and referees in Brussels that registration in the FIAS Database is mandatory.

The seminar, scheduled for January 30 - February 1, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium, will be conducted under the guidance of FIAS Sports Director Professor Sergey Tabakov. The three-day event will take place at Stadium, the most prestigious and largest sports club in Belgium and the entire Benelux region.

To participate in the seminar, coaches and referees must complete registration in the FIAS Database using the appropriate links:

The event regulations have been published on the event page in the FIAS calendar. Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with all requirements and conditions before attending.

The seminar program covers theoretical and practical aspects of SAMBO, including refereeing rules for Sport SAMBO and Combat SAMBO, SAMBO technique classification, biomechanical principles, and extensive practical training in holds, turnovers, arm and leg locks, and various types of throws.
