Anna Kharitonova: victories of teammates and Colombian coffee, lost luggage and plans for tomorrow

The second day of competition pleased us with the victories of my teammates. Since I have all my fights the day before, today I was able to relax a bit, cheer for the guys, and even had time to make the necessary purchases. My today entry is about all this.

We have established a mode of live in Colombia: rise at 7 am, breakfast, and at 9 am we are already in the Hall. The fight starts at 10:00, but we need to tape, tune in and warm up. Today, I'm not fighting, but went to the gym workout with the rest of our team. Best rest - a change of activity, so an easy GFT helped me to recover and to feel myself fine.

Today fought: Diana Aliyeva in the weight category of 56 kg, Aslan Mudranov in 62 kg and Sergei Ryabov in the weight category of 82 kg. In the morning part of the competition they won all their fights and in the evening, final block they met with, respectively: Alina - Colombian sambist, Aslan - Venezuelan athlete and Sergey - sambist from Colombia.

During the break between morning and evening competition blocks we had a little time, and we went to the store, as we all promised to bring friends and family gifts from Colombia. Without further ado, we opted for Colombian coffee, which is world famous for its aroma and taste. We asked the organizers to give us an accompanying translator and went to the nearest supermarket. Purchases been made, and we even managed to fool around a bit. In general, our mood before the final block of competition was just right.

Their finals guys from our team won confidently, Alina won with an arm lock, Aslan lit 12:00 on the scoreboard and Sergey won with a clean throw, which caused delight and joy of the spectators.

After the competition rewarding ceremony and numerous photo shoots awaited us. Too bad our famous Russian coach Sergei Portnov lost his luggage, so in the photos he is wearing jeans instead of a suit of the Russian national team, but I think this fact does not spoil our photos.

For tomorrow we planned trip to Cali and walk through this wonderful city. We are planning to go sightseeing and wander around the shops and go home in the evening.
