Armenia Prepares to Host the 2025 World SAMBO Cup

The World SAMBO Cup for the prizes of the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, Gagik Tsarukyan, will be held on June 7-8 in Yerevan. The tournament will take place at the Gazprom Armenia Arena and will bring together top athletes from around the globe. Medals will be contested in both Sport and Combat SAMBO among men and women.

Athletes will compete across 28 weight categories, with the tournament’s total prize fund amounting to USD 196,000. The prizes will be distributed as follows:

Gold – USD 3,000

Silver – USD 2,000

Bronze (2 medalists) – USD 1,000
