Pan American SAMBO Championships will be held in Colombia

The Colombian city of Villavicencio will host the Pan American SAMBO Championships in 2021. The tournament in Sports, Combat and Beach SAMBO will take place from 16 to 18 July. The corresponding decision was made at the online meeting of the Executive Committee of the Pan American SAMBO Union (UPASA).

The Continental Championship was supposed to be held in Colombia in 2020, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to postpone the tournament. The previous time Colombia hosted the Pan American Championships in 2017, when the sambists performed in the city of Guadalajara de Buga.
