When will the Romanian Open sports and combat sambo Championship among juniors and adults be held? What tournament has become one of the stages of qualification and preparation for the national Sambo championship in the French Region of Pourrières? On what channel can one watch a TV broadcast of the Open Sambo Championship among athletes with disabilities held in Moscow? You will find answers to these and other questions in the digest of the FIAS website.

Romania

The Romanian Open sports and combat sambo Championship among juniors and adults will be held in Bucharest between February 8 and 9. Boys and girls born in 1996-1997 (and two years younger), as well as men and women born in 1994 and older are invited to participate in the competition. Sambo athletes from around the world can try their hand in Bucharest, since one athlete from the national team in each weight category is allowed to compete. The total number of athletes from a team is limited to 40 participants. Referees of the national category are going to judge sambo athletes at the tournament, which will be held in the Bucharest Mircea Eliade Sports Palace. Detailed terms and conditions are stipulated in the regulations of the tournament.

France

Pourrières Regional Cup (southern France) was held on January 19 at a local sambo club. About 50 sambo athletes of different ages took part in this tournament. The morning part of the competition was devoted to finding the strongest ones among children who ardently, sincerely and emotionally fought in one of the first competitions in their lives. Lucky winners rejoiced the heaviness of the medals won and proudly wore them on their chests. After lunch juniors and adults joined the fight. Youthful enthusiasm changed into mastery and professionalism of trained and experienced athletes who were result-oriented, and did not forget to please the audience with nice holds. This competition has become one of the stages of qualification and preparation for the France Sambo championship.
