Islom Adylov became the winner of the FIAS Porcelain Whistle Award

The FIAS Porcelain Whistle award ceremony for the best referee of the year took place on November 9 as part of the 2024 World SAMBO Championships, which is taking place in Astana (Kazakhstan). By the decision of the Technical Commission of the International SAMBO Federation, the winner of this award was Islom Adylov, a representative of Uzbekistan.

The award was presented to the laureate by FIAS Executive Director Sergey Tabakov. He noted Islom Adylov's extensive experience as a referee, as well as the chief referee of a huge number of international competitions at the highest level. Over the years, Adylov has consistently confirmed his professionalism, and also enjoys great authority in the referee corps.

The porcelain whistle has been awarded to the best referee annually, starting in 2021. It is created according to an exclusive model and is manufactured strictly by order and under the supervision of the International SAMBO Federation. The idea is that such recognition of merit and assessment of the work of specialists is an additional incentive for the development and self-improvement of referees.
