Ko Seo Hyeon in the "Way of the Champion" project: from no-name to world champion
The 19th episode of the series “Way of the Champion”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of SAMBO, was released on the Sambo.Live video portal. The hero of the issue is the World SAMBO champion from the Republic of Korea Ko Seo Hyeon.
Ko Seo Hyeon: “When I won the gold medal, I realized I was the first world champion from Korea in the entire history of Korean sambo. Of course, it was a life-changing moment for me. If before I was, so to say, a no-name athlete no one knew, after that victory the Korean media published lots of good articles about me. People started recognizing me in the streets. It felt amazing.”
