Live webcast of the SAMBO Tournament at the Universiade in Kazan

Every day brings SAMBO fans to the historic event, i.e. to the start of the competitions in the sport at the Universiade in Kazan. The lucky who happen to find themselves in the capital of Tatarstan these days have already got tickets to the Tatneft-Arena Sports Complex where the SAMBO Tournament will be held from 14 to 16 July. Those who failed to free up some days for covering the distance from home to Kazan to enjoy student SAMBO of the grand master level due to various reasons, will be able to do it without leaving their computers. Live webcast of the SAMBO Tournament at the Universiade in Kazan will be arranged on the FIAS website.

All three competition days of the SAMBO Universiade will begin with the preliminaries at 10:00 am by Kazan (and Moscow) standard time. The finals, where the “gold” and “silver” winners of the 2013 Universiade will be determined, will also start at 16.00 each day. Let’s recall that the SAMBO competitions will be held in 18 weight categories – 9 among men and 9 among women each.

On the first competition day medalists in the following weight category: 48 kg, 60 kg and 72 kg – among women, 52 kg, 68 kg and 90 kg – among men will be determined. On the second competition day medals in weight categories: 52 kg, 64 kg and 80 kg – among women, 57 kg, 74 kg and 100 kg – among men will be played. On the final competition day champions and winners in the following weight categories: 56 kg, 68 kg and +80 kg – among women, 62 kg, 82 kg and +100 kg – among men will be played.
