FIAS Education Guide for Sambists against Sport Manipulations was published

FIAS Education Guide for Sambists against Sport Manipulations, developed by CSCF Consulting, is published on the official website of the International SAMBO Federation. This guide is part of the joint work of two organizations dedicated to raising awareness of sambists, coaches and sport managers in the field of sports manipulations.

When preparing these materials, CSCF Consulting offered FIAS a large survey, in which more than 380 people took part. Among them were athletes, coaches, staff, referees and other officials from the SAMBO world. Interestingly enough, more than 85% respondents admitted of not receiving any education or awareness raising about sport manipulation at all.

The published document not only summarizes the results of a survey conducted among SAMBO representatives around the world, but also presents best practice data on various forms of possible manipulation of results (not only in SAMBO, but in sport in general). The manual details the harmful effects of manipulations and how to deal with such problems, including some scenarios that may vary in real life, and tactics of behavior in them.
