FIAS President was awarded the Order of Mongolia "Red Banner of Labor"

Vasily Shestakov, President of the International SAMBO Federation, was awarded the Order of Mongolia "Red Banner of Labor". The corresponding decree was signed by the President of Mongolia, Khaltmaagiin Batulga. The award ceremony took place today, June 24, in Moscow. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Dulamsurengiina Davaa presented the Order to Vasily Shestakov and congratulated him on receiving the award.

“I regard this order as an advance payment for the great work that we have to do. Together with my team, we will work to strengthen friendly relations with Mongolia not only in sports, but in all other spheres of activity,” Vasily Shestakov said.

It should be noted that in November 2020, the FIAS President became the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in St. Petersburg.
