The Romanian team became the winner of the World Team Beach Sambo Championship 2023

The Romanian team won gold medals on the second day of the World Beach Sambo Championships in the team tournament. The second place was taken by the Kazakhstan team, the sambists from Costa Rica and the FIAS 1 team took third place.

The Dominican Republic hosted the III World Beach Sambo Championships, which took place in the city of Juan Dolio from September 9 to 10.

The general partner of the tournament was the Rosneft oil company, and the official partner was VTB Bank.

On the first day of the competition, sambists competed for the title of the strongest in the individual competition, and on the second day – in the team tournament. A live broadcast of the competition was organized on the FIAS website.
