The "ALL COMBAT" national championships in combat SAMBO among adults took place on February 8 in Guayaquil, Republic of Ecuador.
Sambists who took to the mat at the Polideportivo Huancavilca Sports Complex competed in seven weight categories: 58, 64, 71, 88, 98 kg (men), 50, 72 kg (women). In the aggregate, over 40 athletes partook in the starts.
"The ALL COMBAT Championships are the first in the series of three tentative tournaments we have planned prior to the continental starts. The best athletes will represent Ecuador at the Pan American Championships, also to be held in Guayaquil this June.
