German SAMBO Championships was held in Marburg

About 120 athletes took part in the German National SAMBO Championships, which took place in Marburg on January 19.

Representatives of various ages came out on mats. There were sambists of 10 years as well as experienced athletes in the category of veterans. The tournament has become qualifying for the German sambists: national teams of various ages will be formed to participate in international competitions according to the results of the championships.

As the coaches and representatives of the leadership of the German SAMBO Federation noted, now the main goal for athletes is to work hard so that the German sambists could reach the level of the world's leading athletes.
