Abdul Hakeem Al Shino said: “We have serious intentions of including sambo in one of CISM events”.

The President of International Military Sports Council (CISM) Abdul Hakeem Al Shino attended slalom competitions in “Rosa Khutor” ski center, Sochi. He spent some time by the competition area, watching a medal event of the 3^rd Winter Military World Games. He also answered reporters` questions, one of which concerned sambo.

“Sambo is very popular worldwide nowadays. The President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is a huge sambo fan. We have serious intentions of including sambo in one of CISM events. Sambo is a beautiful and great sport. It is a unique sport in Russia, which corresponds to all military requirements. We hope that one day it will be included in the program of sporting competitions of the Games”, - stated Abdul Hakeem Al Shino.
