FIAS invites sambists to the summer series of ITA webinars

The International SAMBO Federation invites sambists to join the series of webinars of the International Testing Agency (ITA), which will be held in July and August.
All athletes and entourage members have to understand the Anti-Doping system and the rules that apply to each group. Athletes are subject to the principle of strict liability – this means that you are strictly responsible for anything that is found in your system.
Last year, the FIAS partnered with the International Testing Agency (ITA). ITA is an international organisation constituted as a not-for-profit foundation with a mission to manage Anti-Doping programs, independent from sporting or political powers, for International Federations (IFs), Major Event Organisers (MEOs), and all other Anti-Doping organisations. Since that, the ITA started conducting the entire testing program for FIAS, both for in- and out-of-competition doping controls. All clean sports activities carried out by the ITA strictly comply with the World Anti-Doping Code and its International Standards.
One of the components of the FIAS-ITA partnership is also raising awareness about doping, maintaining the values of clean sport, and preventing doping among sambists by developing a four-year educational plan starting in 2023. To support this plan, the ITA is launching a new series of Anti-Doping webinars this summer.
We strongly encourage all representatives of the SAMBO community to take advantage of a short break in the championships bracket a join each webinar to test their knowledge, learn the recent updates and receive a certificate from participation in all series (5 sessions) of webinars.
