Cup of NOC of Armenia President Tsarukyan in SAMBO with a prize fund for the winners will be held in Yerevan

The international SAMBO tournament "Cup of the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan" will be held on August 4 in Yerevan. Competitions will be held in 7 weight categories in Sport SAMBO among men and in 2 weight categories in Sport SAMBO among women. The total amount of the prize fund of the tournament is 189,000 USD.

Medals will be awarded in the following weight categories:

Men: 58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg.

Women: 54 kg, +80 kg.

The list of participants will be formed by individual invitation from the organizing committee of the tournament. No more than 8 athletes can take part in one weight category: 1 representative from each country, with the exception of Armenia, which will field 2 sambists in each category.

The winners of the Cup of the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan will raffle off the cash prize fund:

1st place - 10.000 USD

2nd place - 5.000 USD

3rd place (two medalists) - 3.000 USD
