Asian Open SAMBO Cup Held in Atyrau

Atyrau hosted the Asian Open SAMBO Cup among youths born in 2007-2008, dedicated to the memory of the Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international class referee Koshkarbay Tabynbaev. Such a large-scale tournament was organized in this region for the first time.
About 150 sambists took part in the competition, representing 10 countries of Asia and Europe. Athletes were greeted by the President of the Sambo Union of Asia and Oceania Alamjon Mullaev and Deputy Akim of the Atyrau region Marat Murziev. Hundreds of spectators watched the fights from the stands of the Atyrau sports complex, and following the results of the competition, a video was released that will help to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the tournament.
