World Combat Games to start with SAMBO competitions

Today, August 3, the Organizing Committee of the World Combat Games published the schedule of competitions for the upcoming tournament. Multi-sport games will be held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from October 20 to 30, during which medals in 16 sports will be played. The sambists had the honor to open the competitive program of the Games: the SAMBO tournament will be held on October 20-21.

Also on these dates, in parallel with SAMBO, boxing and karate tournaments will be held. The competition will take place at the Sports Arena at King Saud University in Riyadh. According to the organizing committee, the World Combat Games will bring together more than 2,500 participants from 80 countries. For sambists, selection for the Games in Riyadh is based on the results of continental championships.
