FIAS Vice President Discussed SAMBO Development with Hungarian Foreign Minister

On October 16, in the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation a meeting between the head of the department Pavel Kolobkov and the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyarto was held. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Russian Federation Norbert Konkoy, FIAS Vice President, President of the All-Russian SAMBO Federation Sergey Eliseev and other officials.

The parties discussed the distribution and popularization of SAMBO in Hungary, as well as the interaction of countries in the sports field. It was decided that in November of this year, a delegation of sambists together with the FIAS Vice President Sergey Eliseev will visit Hungary. The program of the event will include: SAMBO workshops for athletes and coaches, continuing education courses for referees and coaches, a master class for law enforcement agencies. A forum on the SAMBO to School project will also be held.
