"Traditionally, the national championship aroused keen interest among the numerous spectators gathered in the stands in the hall. Most of our titled athletes proved their high level of skill, although young SAMBO athletes were not shy in meetings with champions. Based on the results of the championship, our coaches will be able to form the national team to participate in international competitions this year," said Alisher Alimov, President of the Sambo Association of Uzbekistan.
