Kazahstan and Russia are in the lead according to the results of the first day of the World Cup Stage in Uralsk

SAMBO World Cup Stage for the Prizes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev started on January 27. Sportsmen from 14 countries take part in the tournament that is being held at the Uralsk Ice Arena. Without putting off until later the SAMBO wrestlers from Russia and Kazakhstan took the bull by the horns and had an unofficial spar with each other. According to the results of the first day there is a combative draw - 5:5.
Despite the fact that the draw is a combative one, neither one country nor the other has managed to take the gold in Combat SAMBO. The first place in the weight category up to 62 kg will be taken to Bulgaria by Marco Maryanov. As for the Sport SAMBO, both men and women had a very tough competition for the first places among Kazakh and Russian sportsmen and sportswomen. And this is not speaking of the sportsmen and sportswomen from other countries who fought for the medals: from Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the USA.
It will become clear today in the evening whether anyone will be able to break into the fight for medals. The competition live is available during the whole day at FIAS site www.sambo.sport
