On December 31, Fеdor Emelianenko, Russian master of Mixed Martial Arts and four-time World Champion in combat SAMBO, had a fight with Satoshi Ishii, Olympic Champion in judo from Japan.
Our SAMBO legend won the fight by knockout on the 3rd minute.
On behalf of FIAS, we heartily congratulate Fedor Emelianenko on his victory. On the eve of New Year 2012 he brought the long expected happiness and positive emotions to the entire global SAMBO community.
Fedor,s victory is very important for the future of SAMBO; his sport experience and generosity always been and will forever be the example for the young people of the World.
We wish Fyodor good health, self-confidence and further victories to the glory of Russia and SAMBO!
