The European Open Sambo Championship among Cadets held in Riga, Latvia, became a special event. The tournament, which was held for the second time, allowed young Sambo athletes to check their abilities at the international level. Thousands of viewers all over the world watched the online broadcasting of the championship and then watched the videos of all competition days.
