Fedor Emelianenko will attend the European Sambo Championships in Serbia

The legendary sambist, multiple World Combat SAMBO Champion, Ambassador of SAMBO and FIAS in the world Fedor Emelianenko will visit the main continental SAMBO tournament, which will be held in Serbia. The European Championships among adults, youth and juniors will be hosted in the Serbian city of Novi Sad from May 9 to 12.

During the visit, Fedor Emelianenko will not only attend competitions, but also conduct a master class for representatives of various types of martial arts, give a lecture for students of sports specialties, and also communicate with journalists. A press conference with the participation of the legend of SAMBO and mixed martial arts will be held in Belgrade on May 8, on the eve of the start of the continental championship.

Athletes from 30 countries are expected to take part in the competition.

Combat SAMBO (men): 58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg

Combat SAMBO (women): 54 kg, 59 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg, 80 kg

Sport SAMBO (juniors male): 58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg

Sport SAMBO (juniors female): 50 kg, 54 kg, 59 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg, 80 kg, +80 kg

Sport SAMBO (youth male): 53 kg, 58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg

Sport SAMBO (youth female): 47 kg, 50 kg, 54 kg, 59 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg, 80 kg, +80 kg

For Combat SAMBO wrestlers (women, men), this tournament will be one of the stages of selection for the World Games, which will take place from August 7 to 17, 2025 in Chengdu (People's Republic of China).
