SAMBO Throne Cup Held in Casablanca

The Ain Chock Sports Complex in Casablanca hosted the SAMBO Throne Cup on July 6. The tournament, held in honor of the anniversary of the enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, was organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sambo and Tai Jitsu.

"Participants demonstrated determination, technical skill, and true sporting spirit. The tournament stood out for its high standards in sporting, technical, and logistical aspects," the national sambo federation stated.

In both disciplines – Sport SAMBO and Combat SAMBO – victory went to athletes representing the Martial Arts Circle club. The champions noted that winning the Throne Cup was a significant achievement and a source of great pride.

Spectators actively supported the athletes, creating a festive and spirited atmosphere in the stands.

"This kind of support makes the tournament not only a competitive arena, but also a space for uniting the entire SAMBO community," added representatives of the federation.

During the award ceremony, the President of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sambo and Tai Jitsu, Dalil Skalli, together with members of the Federation's Executive Committee, presented the winners with well-deserved trophies and medals.
