According to the national federation, 220 sambists from various sports clubs in Morocco took part in the championship. As noted by the organizing committee of the competition, during the bouts, many athletes demonstrated a wide variety of styles and techniques, which confirmed the growth of the skill level of Moroccan sambists. An additional incentive for the participants was the support of the stands, which motivated the athletes to show their best during the competition.
